Vivid Group, a leading communications and technology services business and part of Aegis Media Pacific, has appointed Piers Hogarth-Scott as Managing Director.
Piers will lead the Vivid team of 40+ staff in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. He brings to the role more than 15 years senior management experience in digital agencies, new technology and social media firms in Europe, Australia and Asia.
Piers joins Vivid from Community Engine, a social business and community engagement technology platform. Piers replaces Damian Cook as MD, who will depart at the end of the month.

Previously, Piers has worked at interactive marketing agency Hothouse, founded Australia’s first word of mouth marketing agency Yooster and was Managing Director of Patts Digital, the interactive arm of George Patterson Y&R.
He has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands in just about every industry sector, including Panasonic, Warner Music, Coca-Cola Amatil, Unilever, Nestle and ninemsn along with extensive experience with government and not-for-profit bodies.
